How to Clean Your Professional Make Up Brushes

Gather all your brushes and use only shampoo for cleaning make up brushes. No matter whether the bristles are synthetic or natural fur, use only shampoo and do not use conditioner.

Rinse the make up brushes thoroughly under warm, running water. Wet the make up brushes first before adding 2 drops of shampoo directly to the brushes.

Remember to rinse the make up brushes completely after washing it to make sure no soap residue is left on the brushes.

The next step will be removing the excess water from the brushes by squeezing the brushes from base to tip. Do not use a hair dryer to make this process faster, it is best to squeeze the water out and then just let it dry naturally to preserve the texture of the bristles.

Before using the brushes again, double check the brushes to make sure they are completely dry and clean. Remember having clean brushes make you more professional and tidy and will boost up your reputation among your customers.

Finally, always clean your brushes. you can use Isopropyl Alcohol, Baby Shampoo or specialist brush washing products to lengthen the life of your brushes.
